Behind the Scenes
Every project I undertake is a new adventure. One of my recent favorites was working with a Japanese artist couple group called "
This was my first 8mm film project for clients and my first time using the Super8 Canon 514 xls with a reel of Kodak 500T. The goal of the project was to challenge me to blend modern digital techniques with the nostalgic aesthetics of 8mm film, resulting in a beautifully unique final product.
It's incredibly rewarding when you achieve better results than expected. After viewing the footage, I decided to edit together (Watch Movies>"The Story of Lita & Lloyd") as a film music version. This experience reaffirmed my belief in the power of combining old and new technologies to create something truly special.

PS Quick Travel Tip for Obon in Japan:
Obon, from August 13th to 16th, is a major Japanese festival where locals honor ancestors.
If you're visiting Kyoto during this time, expect crowds and possible restrictions.
Check websites and maps before heading out.
To enjoy your trip, visit popular sites early or late in the day and explore quieter spots like the Philosopher's Path or Nanzen-ji Temple.
What Obon Means to Japanese People:
Obon honors deceased ancestors with family reunions, grave visits, and traditional dances (Bon Odori). It’s a time for paying respects and celebrating family heritage.
